From start to finish, Phil was incredible at making our day special. We met him prior to the big day to discuss what the style and design of the day was, how many people were attending and our desire to capture the intimacy of our day without having too many staged photos. He was so flexible with our ideas, made us feel completely at ease in his company and even visited the venue to have a look at the hotel and surrounding areas so he was prepared to provide us beautiful photography whether it was rain or shine on the big day! Luckily when it came to the wedding, the weather was on our side so we could take advantage of the beautiful areas he had located around Hyde Park and South Kensington for our wedding photos which were truly magnificent and feature in many of our favourites from the day.
Phil spent the day with us, beginning with snapping myself getting ready and shots of the venue, right through to the rather wild party later that evening. Because we had already met and discussed what we wanted to be captured on the day, we never worried about any shots being missed. His friendly and relaxed manner made all of our guests feel at ease and even the most camera-shy hadn’t noticed him taking photos. With only 26 guests, everyone was photographed having a great time and we were able to see just how much everyone enjoyed themselves from Phil’s photos. We enjoyed his company so much, we even invited him to stay and enjoy the party!
When we received the shots a month after the Wedding, we were unbelievably happy with the results, and went through them several times just to relive our special day. Each shot was better than the next, which made it really hard to choose which ones we wanted to feature in our wedding album! We have had nothing but compliments on Phil’s photographs, with many people looking through the album and commenting that it was the best album they have ever seen, a true reflection on just how good Phil is at his job. His passion for photography, ability to capture beautiful and intimate moments and his bubbly, relaxed personality all make him truly one of the best photographers I have worked with and one which I will be recommending to each friend who is planning their special day.

Phil was absolutely fantastic – from the pre wedding meeting and venue views (x2), putting a camera shy bride completely at ease, being absolutely lovely with all our family members and friends, to making everyone laugh and smile on the day.

As soon as we met Phil, we knew he was the one to capture our special day! He came highly recommended by close friends and after seeing his work online we knew why.
We met and spoke for hours discussing the wedding and he even shared music ideas- discovering we had similar tastes we realised we’d made a good friend.
Phil was amazing on the day and we felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding was small and intimate, but Phil blended in perfectly and was able to capture natural moments of ourselves and our guests. First of all Phil is a good friend of ours,
we had seen his work of previous weddings he had photographed and knew his style was what we wanted when our big day came around.
He treated the day the same as every wedding and was very professional. He carried out a recce of the venue and reception and found some lovely places to take photos before the day.
He made it very stress free and was a joy to be with. Once we received the finished photos we relived our big day all over again. The shots he captured were amazing and we are very pleased with the outcome.
