About me
My name is Philip, creator of Morris & Mully, based in Kent, thank you for stopping by.
My story in photography started 20 years ago. I met a fashion photographer whilst I was playing football, who was looking for an assistant to help carry the bags. (You have to start somewhere!)
We travelled the world shooting for many fashion magazines and advertising campaignes having lots of adventures. In that time he taught me about photography and what makes a great shot, I learnt a lot from him. From that moment I was hooked. No two days were the same, each day was exciting and something new, which teaches you how to adapt to different situations, scenarios and thinking on your feet (Which is great for weddings!)
Over that time I developed my own style capturing natural moments, details and stories. I love it when you capture a moment and give the client a quick look to see and watch as their eyes light up and start smiling..I love that feeling..it gives me goosebumps. I've even been known to do a little skip!
The way I like to shoot weddings is to tell the story of the day, informal documentary style photography, from getting ready through to the last dance. I am told I have a knack of keeping people calm..which really helps! The best results I find are when couples are just themselves, using the wedding location to make beautiful shots. No gimmicks or awkward setups.. (I don't do cheese!) just the both of you looking amazing and creating some wonderful memories.
If this is the type of thing you're looking for your special day, please get in touch. I'd love to hear about your big day and how I might help capture it.
